General Notes:
Planted by Reginald Orton Bradley (1857–1943), this impressive Sierra redwood is located on the main driveway near the park entry kiosk. It is recorded as Tree 21 on the Orton Bradley Park tree list.

For many years, the tree has supported a kōtare (kingfisher) nesting colony within fissures in the trunk bark, adding to its ecological and heritage significance (Hammer, J.R., 2025)
