An attractive Irish yew, mostly upright with a few spreading branches and dense, healthy foliage. Apart from minor foliage loss on one side of its base, the tree has good overall form. Planted in a small garden bed beside a large tulip tree and an ornamental pond in Matamata’s Centennial Drive, it makes a striking feature in the park (Timberland, B. D., 2025).
